Heart of the BULL = 24-30 Taurus  E 54-60.

So…Technically, the sunset crescent in the RAM, the shift goes to Mirita/Ekajati/Bodhisattva poised over Cetus. Potent signal of kairos, the fortunate moment. Upcoming shift May 9, definitely in the BULL, the next shift goes of Bhudevi and Tara, the Selector. Figure it! I would say, yes, Mirita shift with an overtone of Bhudevi and Tara, followed by a full-on shift of those two. So, I correct the call made below for this shift.

Elongation from sun to moon, 27.5 degrees, illumination at 5.7%, a tiny sliver. This is a remarkable distance of elongation for such a thin crescent. Explained by the fact that the moon came through its perigee, near point, on April 7 in 5 Aries E 5 in the Western Fish. Hence, moving at close to maximum velocity. Accomplished skywatchers can actually detect such nuances!

By the time it is visible over the USA and Canada, the Moon will have advanced slightly beyond Jupiter and Uranus, putting it in the heart of the BULL. [JLL lunar perigee at 47 in the heart of the Bull.]

The Ram undertow or riptide: a strong offshore current that is caused by the tide pulling water through an inlet along a barrier beach, at a lagoon or inland marina where tide water flows steadily out to sea during ebb tide. It is a strong tidal flow of water within estuaries and other enclosed tidal areas. The riptides become the strongest where the flow is constricted. When there is a falling or ebbing tide, the outflow water is strongly flowing through an inlet toward the sea.

There is a lot to unpack here. I repeat, I have never seen such an alignment. Consider it like a zipper with the latch at the opening moment, Moon-Saturn-Mars in the lunar increment as I write these words. The line up then “upzips” all the way to the sunset crescent announcing the next shift. The action suggests a ripping or shearing in the fabric of spacetime, equivalent in the collective psyche to an apocalyptic or unveiling moment. What is being unveiled or unsealed?  Well, ask yourselves what has been sealed so far? That is, unseen and unknown to the masses? What so far is the sealed evidence of Correction?

In a parallel event, consider the Idaho 4 case in which all the evidence has been sealed. I am guessing that this case might be symptomatic of the world-scale problem of Correction, namely, that apart from the ground force, those in the world-drama at large do not see evidence of Correction. Were it to be unsealed, they would not not be unable to see it. Is this the moment at hand?

As for what eclipses, solar and lunar, might signify (on Her terms) I will hold off on comment for the moment, but I am guessing that the lines cited from Trimorphic Protennoia might hold some clues. Remember that the “three-bodied inceptive thought” is the ideal three-body system for the Anthropos.

If you were me, what would you make of this?

I have only listened to the first five minutes. I can’t bear to listen to more. It is too demoralizing. I have to so someting so that it does not ruin my day.

After Skool has 3.13 M subs and she has 182K. Notice that she does not state her qualifications and cites no sources for her paradigm of ascending-descending arcs of evolution. She loads every sentence with pulpy new cage jargon and empty pretentious cliches that have been repeated thousands of times. This is my competition. When you consider what I have done in the GNE and then with the MED to explain how to participate in the mitosis of the planetary animal mother, and how I have described the mutation of A-11….

Of course, I can plead the case of the Great Recovery with beauty, humour, and eloquence as I have done with my previous self-assigned projects. But will I? With 8.2K subs, I get on average 1500 YT views and within those statistics (for what they are worth) I get about 20-40 comments, usually from the same people, and the average listening time is 12 minutes. 71 % of listeners do not got to the end of the talk.

I ask you again, If you were me, what would you make of this? Put yourself in my skin and see how it feels. Tell me how it looks to you.

Bear in mind that no one with large presence on the internet invites or allows anyone on their platform that might damage their reputation or compromise their appeal, leading to loss of subs and revenues. If you are thinking that it’s normal and obvious that Sarah Elkhaldy would want to have a conversation with me, the outstanding expert in the world on what she’s talking about, you would be seriously wrong.

This video showed up this morning as I was contemplating how and if to continue with the Great Recovery talks which you will know represent a kind of popular or soft-touch appeal for the mutation of A-11. And I am wondering, what is the point of continuing to do this, and what’s in it for me? I am ready to sign off permanently and devote my precious little time to Nemeta and books I want to see published.

670 enrolled on the Menhir, 1348 PT, 964 visitors…. ? Ceridwen tells me that some enrolled haven’t been here for a year or more. I am guessing there are maybe 10 at most who would respond to this announcement.  Write me with your comments if you can be bothered to show that you care and it matters to you what becomes of me and my legacy.

Monday April 1st 2024: When I introduced course 12 Ideosophy, I proposed that my contributions would be written in aphorisms, Nietzsche-style. It has not turned out that way so far. In fact, writing aphoristically is extremely demanding. Try it and see what I mean.

The link here is a pretty good short talk on Nietzsche’s essential message, much of which you find vividly echoed here on Nemeta, for instance, the inspiration of the Troubadours in “The Gay Science.” You can see how often and exactly what I say is a rephrase of what he said. I offer this link for your enjoyment. I could be featured in a unit/page in Ideosophy with comment, but it really does not require comment.

Regarding the Eternal Return, I have pointed out in The Treehouse that you experience this enigma at each moment that your memory, routinely occupied with reminding you of events in the past, continually reminds you of where you are in the present moment, right now in place and time. You eternally return to the present moment. That is the short solution to the enigma of ER, the erigma.The long answer is something else together. I strongly feel that the erigma played a huge role in Nietzsche’s madness, because he could not describe it fully or accurately. Can anyone? The quotations show that he posited that the erigma happens with “nothing new in it.” Did he assume or consider that it might happen with the possibility of change, of something new happening? Apparently not.

March 31st 2024: The Secret of Everything I Have Done

A while ago (June, 2019) I offered a free year membership to Nemeta to anyone who could solve the riddle contained in the short story, Prost, which I wrote in Pokhara in March 1966. There were no takers. It may be that I invited you to look into an incident of autistic elaboration which, in the first place, simply does not capture your interest, or, in the second place, even if it does, may stand beyond the range of neurotypical faculties of comprehension. Yet this story contains the secret of everything I have done.

The story tells about a man named Prost who comes into “my place” with a story to tell. Thus it is a story within a story. The riddle becomes obvious by simple observation of the structure of the story: What happened to Prost in that meeting  is told by the narrator, not Prost. Upon hearing from Prost that he has met the “mythical old seaman” — the only words spoken by Prost in the story — the narrator relates how he then asked him “Where?” — the only word spoken by the narrator in dialogue.  And the story ends with the line, “But Prost could not answer my question.”

How then could the story be known if Prost does not tell it?  Again, the riddle is obvious. The narrator tells what happened to Prost when he wandered into the dining hall and lounge of a seaside hotel for retired seamen. How does the narrator know this, even if Prost cannot answer the question, “where” did it happen? Obviously, it happened at “my place,” the narrator’s establishment. Thus the setting of the incident that Prost cannot explain is the “place” of the narrator who witnessed the entire event: thus, he is the one to narrate it. That is the answer to the riddle.

No one solved this riddle. Yet it is flagrantly simple and obvious: the narrator could tell what happend in the meeting between Prost and the “mythical old seaman,” because he witnessed in happening at his place, his hotel for old seaman. What does that tell me about you? Or anyone? The takeaway of the story is, framed in a question, “If you cannot see the obvious, how can you see the Mystery, the presence of the Supernatural?” Yes, this is a test.

There is the obvious that you see. That is an everyday habitual experience, perfectly normal, completely neurotypical. But you can only see the obvious if you remember the present moment, where and when you are in the present, passing moment, right now — distinguished from the memory of the past or past moments.  The memory of the present moment is the Obvious. The memory of the Eternal Now is the Non-Obvious, the Mystery of existing in the first place, in “my place” or your place in time. The question of the narrator is “Where?” You live materially where the Obvious and the Non-Obvious merge. Otherwise, neither can be, and neither can you be. Or have even been.

Wednesday 20th March 2024: Don’t excuse me for saying I said so, but assessing the prospect of Matangi’s triumph over the Archontic trickster and Mephisto rules — “You are not allowed to see what is not there to see.” — I said that the entire world-drama suddenly shifts to the advantage of truth when things start happening that cannot be concealed. The absurd events concerning Brigitte, wife of French president Macron, and Kate Middleton in the UK, dismissed by many as to trivial to bother about, are just that, yes, trivial. But the triviality is perhaps an apt illustration of my assertion: Not being able to hide something so trivial signals no longer being able to hide what matters, either. I rest my case.

Have you ever had the impression, as you move through your days and nights, habitually comfortable in the flow of the passing moment, everything around you that is stable and familiar, and known, and you effortlessly present in the scene and setting — the impression that it all has come into existence at that exact single moment? As if you and all of it, and you in it all, did not exist before, did not have to exist before, did not have to go through a process in time and linear duration, to come to this moment, to be here in this immediate event of being alive?

Rilke born in the all-seeing heart of the Scorpion tried to explain his notion of life-in-death and death-in-life as if they were complementing planes that meet at a perfect edge, the edge of this moment  which in some uncanny way captures you dead in life and alive in death, deathless in Eternity. That impression, as if everything has come to exist instantaneously in this single passing moment of the Now — that impression is, I reckon, the sense of being deathlessly alive and the supreme way to truly know what the event of being alive is, as if you could know in perfection how it all looks already to death itself, death looking at life.

Samsara and this enlightenment have the same look.

Saturday 24th February 2024: Here’s a thought for the day under the full moon in the Lion near the heart star, Vira. Years back when writing Quest for the Zodiac, I struggled for a pristine distinction between destiny and fate. It finally came to me a few days ago:

Destiny is the pattern that unfolds according to what you make of the hand you are dealt in life. Fate is what the dealer makes of you.

Currently, I have been writing on a book titled Permutations of Destiny. It is an introduction to the theory and practice of Dialectic Astrology, formerly known as ASB, astrology for StarBase. DA is not star-based like Celestics, but it is complementary to it. It is a complete reformulation of the theory and techniques of conventional sun sign astrology. I don’t know how it will finally come off or be received, but at moments of writing it I feel like what I imagine Al Di Meola feels on guitar solo.

Love your solitude, my friends. It is the only genuine place you have to come from to be solid with others and right with the world.

Eyes to the sky: There is a Venus-Mars conjunction forming which will be exact on February 23rd in 8 Aquarius E 308 in the heart of the Goatfish. This is a relatively rare sight so it will be worth getting up before dawn to see it if your local viewing conditions are good. You will have a window of about a 1/2 hour after it crosses the horizon, before it dissolves into the sunlight. The sun is in 5 Pisces E 335 in the belly of the Manitu (Waterbearer). If the sky is clear enough you will be able to see Aquila, the Eagle, up to the right. This is Skydancer, the constellation of VV.

Observation depends on latitude, the higher you are, say 45 N or S, the lower the conjunction will be on the horizon to the right of the rising sun, the lower you are, say 35 N or S, the higher it will be. It looks like this at my locale at 43 N latitude:

Monday 12th February 2024: early evening here in Spain, we observed the sunset crescent.

I don’t know about anyone else but I have suffered considerable confusion and cognitive dissonance on the timing of this shift. It turns out the last day of the KaliMa shift, marked by the exact moment of the new moon, was on FRIDAY 9th February  — the looming question is WHEN on that date? I see conflicting entries in the many lunation tables on the internet. My old hardbound printed ephemeries says it was at 11:01 PM UCT, an hour before midnight concluding the 9th. This definitively makes:

D1 of the Matangi shift Saturday the 10th, D2 Sunday the 11th, D3 is NOW, Monday the 12th.

Compare to Dolma’s calendar:

What day does the number at the bottom refer to? Does it point to the left or right to designate the day in the block? Again, I am immediately in cognitive dissonance. I reckon that Friday 9th Feb, “Day 0”, is the last day of the shift. But it appears to show the NEW MOON at 4 PM on the preceding day…the 8th? In any case, “Day 0” has to mean, clearly, last day or first day. Better to say D1, than day 0. This calender is one day off, or is it? I cannot read if the 10 or 11 at the bottom of the box refers to Day 1. Repeat, Day 1 was Saturday the 10th! Or was it?

Whatever the cause of this confusion, I dare to declare that Friday 9th February was the last day of the Kali shift. D1 of the Matangi shift was Saturday 10th February. The earliest sunset crescent would have appeared about 16 degrees from the Sun in 20 Aquarius, that is, about 6-8 Pisces, in the MANITU, hence the shift goes to Matangi. I sense a strong overtone of Swan Deva.

This page mirrors those periodic announcements by email and in some cases alerts you to new content, be it talk or text, that gets omitted from the announcements due to the rapidity and fluidity of John’s ongoing efforts to amplify the curricula, refine and reframe the content, and provide clear and “simplific” direction for your studies.

Announcements at the Menhir consistently track progressing content throughout the School and in 16. Planetary Tantra, free to all. It will also signal content on 18. Breaking Nous, and 17. The Terma and the Terton, available to Members only.

The sacred groves where the Mysteries were originally performed were sanctuaries of natural beauty where rocks and mineral formations were carefully observed. There might be a special rock at the boundary of the sanctuary, as there was a “stepping stone” on Infinity Ridge:

There it was a flat stone (barely visible in this photo) on the left at the base of the wild olive standing offside the welcome grove. When you stepped on it you formally entered the ritual space of the Ridge, then proceeding through the gracious arboreal corridor to the Devi Tree. (Sierra del Hacho, Andalucia. Sierra de Libar to the right, northwest)

In many cases, sacred stone markers were erected in the wild sanctuaries. A single standing stone was called a menhir (Brythonic maen, “stone” and hir, “long”). An arresting geomagnetic marker in the force field of the nemeton, the menhir had acoustic properties as well. Touching it, you could hear differently. Sitting in contact with it would deepen the shaman’s reach into the Nagual. It also served as a geodetic marker for placing the local site in the setting of seasonal cycles, aligned to the solstices and equinoxes, the cross-quarter days, and the rising and setting of prominent stars. Hence, it was a multi-purpose tool of orientation.

It is advisable to check the Menhir for orientation on Nemeta from time to time. Below you will find entries listed in reverse chronological order, most recent at top for easy access. This list will grow and morph in the course of each month. At the completion of each month, the activity recorded will be archived in the curriculum panel: “ARCHIVES”

One final word: I do wish to keep Nemeta supplied with occasional fresh input, additional to what it requires of me to maintain the burgeoning structure, the ongoing organization of the Blocks, editing, revision, etc. But I can only do what I can do, and as it pleases me… Time is at premium for me now and I have undertaken a writing project, the consummation of my life’s work and the closing revelation of my mystic journey.
